Job Overview:
As a Graphic Designer, you will take concepts and ideas and bring them to life in print and digital media across multiple channels for a rapidly growing e-commerce brand. An ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every aspect of the design process, from branding and concept to final deliverable. You will collaborate with multiple teams and should be able to take written or spoken ideas and rapidly convert them into a design that connects with our brand and target audience.

Objectives:

• Help build and protect our brand identity across all channels and media
• Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral including ads, social media, websites, emails, product inserts, blog posts as well a product label design
• Work independently as well as cooperatively with our marketing team to ensure projects are completed with high quality, stay within budget, and meet deadlines
• Help establish and build the creative direction for the company as well as leverage established brand guidelines
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
• Perform retouching and manipulation of images
• Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
• Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilities and creative velocity

Competencies:

• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design with an established brand identity
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS (not mandatory but preferred)
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & Figma
• Photography, videography, and editing skills strongly preferred
• Experience with layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web design
• Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
• Strong proofreading and editing skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use trend intelligence and knowledge of historical and current market trends when designing and executing design projects
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies, agility to shift creative direction when needed, and resourcefulness to get projects done in a timely and cost-effective manner
